When The Laundry Bag commissioned its dedicated in-house laundry unit at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata, founder Shourya Jain travelled to inaugurate the new facility, and had the rare privilege of meeting the late Shri Ratan Tata.
Tata Medical Center is among India’s most respected cancer hospitals, where linen hygiene sits at the very heart of safe patient care. Standing up a hospital-grade laundry on this campus was a defining moment in our healthcare journey — proof that The Laundry Bag’s never-mix, infection-aware processes belong in the country’s finest institutions.
Meeting Shri Ratan Tata that day turned an already special occasion into one our team will never forget — a quiet, lasting reminder of the values of trust, humility and uncompromising quality that continue to guide everything we do.
